Just last month we have posted a new chapter that will allow visitors to our website to publish their articles, market themselves and earn a link back to their website. We have now opened it up to the world to submit their articles, but we will give first priority to our loyal readers, so get started today and submit your articles by Clicking here.

Last months newsletter consisted of a survey to further help us understand who you are and what you want published about marketing online over the up and coming months. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all who participated in the survey, the response was quite overwhelming. After analysing these results, we found 67% of our loyal readers have no online experience and the remaining 33% have varied levels from a little experience to internet gurus. So we have decided to deliver quality, easy to understand information that all of our readers, no matter what standard will benefit.

For those experienced web masters, we urge you to be patient as the first couple of months may be well below your level of comprehension but it will be refreshing to go back to the basics, as they may have changed since you first began your internet journey. So, let’s get started by figuring out what to look for in a good service provider or webhost.

We advise you to really do your home work when looking for a webhost. There are hundreds of providers out there, all competing on price and little on quality. Our experience has found many webhost companies will be quick to sign you up for $6.95 per month and all you will get for your money is some poor tools that will mean nothing to a beginner and leave you to work it out yourself.

So what tools should your webhost provide?

If you don’t understand all the terms in this list, don’t be deterred. All you really need to do is ask the host, if they supply these services. There are thousands of tools available to build a website but we are going to concentrate on the essentials.

  1. Domain: Firstly your host will provide you a domain of your choice to start building your website. A domain is your address for your website. For example; our domain name is www.network-marketing-business-school.com. Google’s domain is www.google.com. Your domain should give you unlimited pages for your website.

  2. Graphics tools: We are not all graphic designers, so your webhost needs to provide custom graphics for you website to give it your personal look and feel. You don’t want to spend much time on graphics as this is not really an effective use of your time. So it is very important this is provided.

  3. Blog: Blogging is an incredibly powerful tool for attracting traffic to your website. A blog is simply a diary entry or update on what you, your business or group are doing. This also gives people a chance to communicate and voice there opinions on any given topics, and the more importantly, people love it.

  4. Keyword Brainstorming Tools: A good content rich website is made up of hundreds of pages and each page is dedicated to one or two keywords. Your webhost should provide you with tools you can use to research what popular words people are using in search engines (like google or yahoo). Why is this so important? It allows people on the internet to find the answers to their questions and solve their problems. Therefore, if you can position yourself well in the search engines then naturally you can have a high volume of traffic (potential customers) coming to your websites to review what you have to offer. Use our website as an example, how did you find us? More than 70% of our daily visitors come from the search engines (Google, yahoo etc) and therefore there is a fair chance that you were searching for a solution when you found our website. Can you see how important this is?

  5. Unlimited email accounts: After a while your website will start growing and you will need different email addresses to separate different information. All organizations use this for different departments in their business to make their business more efficient and effective. Your business is no different.

  6. Email autoresponder: If you haven’t been exposed to much internet marketing you will be blown away by what we are just about to tell you. Did you know that you can set up a generic email to be sent out automatically to your customers or prospects when they request further information or purchase a product? This means you can write an email once and your email responder will automatically send your potential customer your pre-written email and it will even imbed their name into the email. How cool is that! You wouldn’t believe how much time this saves us.

  7. Search engine optimization: Not many companies offer this type of tool, yet we feel it is the most important tool for any webhosting company to have. Search engine optimization is an incredible tool that analyses your webpage before your webhost submits it to the worldwide web. This tool will analyse your website in a way the search engines like it.

  8. Traffic Tracking: When your website starts receiving free traffic from search engines you want to be able to track where the traffic is coming from, how much time people are spending on your website, and how many pages they are viewing. All this information is vital for you to improve your website for your readers and your customers. This will help you maximise your profits, understanding what you are doing right and repeating it to help you attract more traffic. Also, it helps you to identify which pages are generating the most traffic so you know which pages to sell your products and which pages to focus your advertising on.

  9. Monetisation: Mona…. what? you might be saying to yourself. Don’t worry, I was saying the same thing when I first started online marketing. Monetisation is the start of your online business; it is where you actually start getting paid. You may not know it, but you can make money from any themed website.

How can you make money? Well probably the easiest way to make money through your own website is through Google adsense. This is simply an ad. I am sure you would have clicked on one of these before. If you don’t know what I am talking about then go to www.google.com and type in the work “network marketing business” you will find two columns of results. The main “big” column is where websites have been ranked by google as having the most relevant material you may be looking for. Website owners do not have to pay to have their websites advertised in this column. On the right hand side you will find google ads. Website owners pay top money to advertise in these spots. It costs website owners a monetary value per click. That’s right if you click on one of these ads the website owner has to pay google and this could range anywhere between 25 cents to $4 depending on the demand for that keyword and the position of the add you are bidding for. But this is not all bad new, this is great news for website owners. If you own a website, you can do a deal with google to place these ads on your website, where google will then pay per click for that add. This program is called google adsence. Other methods of monetising include: selling your own products and courses. And many more.

Once you find a webhost with all these tools, what’s next?

Tools are just the beginning of building a successful business online. Tools are absolutely useless if you do not know how to use them or interpret them. This would be like giving someone a kit aeroplane to build without any instructions—impossible!

Who do we recommend and use?

SBI is our choice. SBI is not just a webhost, it is a complete do-it-yourself guide to succeeding on the internet. It provides you with the tools and knowledge to help position yourself above your competitors in the search engines. SBI can turn any interest or hobby into a successful internet business and has a great package for network marketers looking to build an online network marketing business.

SBI shows you the how-to….to build a website. Anybody can use SBI. No matter what skill level. As I said earlier, I didn’t even know what a domain was. So what I am saying is, if I can do it then .... anyone can do it.

Don’t get us wrong, there are plenty of internet marketing packages out there that are promising the world, but if you are seriously thinking about building an online business we suggest that you don’t just take someone’s word for it, do some research and become as educated as you can. For many of our readers these following links could provide you with the single best education and profitable information you will ever find on the internet, they are guaranteed to open your eyes to a whole new perspective on how to make money off the internet.
