Can an Introvert be Successful in Network Marketing?

Why?

It is important that we realize that network marketing does not equal a sales job. Although there is elements of sales, network marketing is a more diverse business of building an organisation of leaders. Leaders have to be nurtured. Most extroverts are good sales people but they often do not have the patience to nurture the leadership in the organisation. Unfortunately, what happens is that these leaders would reach a point of fatigue and drop out of the business.

An introvert on the other hand, often does not have the sales momentum as the extroverts. Nevertheless, they tend to have more patience and persistence in nurturing leadership. They are extremely good at observing what works and what doesn't work. As a result they some how build something that lasts for a long time! Nonetheless, many introverts do not persist long enough for the results to show.

As a upline to an organisation, what should you do?

Firstly, we need to identify these inherent traits of our downlines for example by using wealth dynamics profiling. Knowing their traits, it is better to understand and leverage on these traits than to correct these traits. How do we leverage on these traits?

Network marketing offers an enormous opportunity for us to leverage these traits as we come together as teams. Having people of diverse strength working together towards a goal produces results that is often way beyond our imagination.

My upline once told me early in my career... "fast is slow, slow is fast". So start identifying your core team to success today.
